Rishikesh gem stone transportation scam

There are 3 brothers in their 30s in Rishikesh who ask people to bring gems to your own country to give to a buyer there. They are connected to "bosses" in Delhi.

You will have to pay for the stones in India and then they say you will get your money back both from them and from the buyer in your own country. The gems are shipped in the mail.

They will not give the name of the buyer until the last day. Then when you get home both parties will be out of reach. Your contact in india will be "in jail" and the one in your own country will not exist or be "out of the country for a while".

All IP/email addresses are in India also the one who supposedly lives in your country. One of the brothers, Ray or Sonny, has a tattoo on his right forearm - a woman's name starting with S, Sonya or something similar, one is married to a Japanese woman.

They have a small store in Laxman Jhula, in the stairs up to Tapovan. First they quote a large sum of money + insurance, then they bring the price down and they will kindly offer to pay the insurance and then you let your guard down.
